Terms of Use
Last updated: March 2026
The Back-of-House is a space for hospitality workers to share stories, frustrations, and moments of joy — anonymously. To keep it safe and useful for everyone, we ask you to follow these rules.
1. No real names
Do not use your own real name, your colleagues' names, or anyone else's real name. That's what your persona is for. If you need to refer to someone, use a role: “my head chef,” “a regular customer,” “the new FOH manager.”
2. No venue or business names
Do not name the restaurant, bar, hotel, or any other venue where events took place. “The place I work” is fine. Naming a specific business is not.
3. Keep it constructive
Vent, laugh, commiserate — that's what we're here for. But no harassment, no threats, and no content designed to damage a specific person's reputation. Punch at situations, not people.
4. No personal contact details
Do not share phone numbers, personal email addresses, social media handles, or any other information that could be used to identify or contact someone off-platform.
5. One persona, used honestly
Your persona is your mask, not a tool for impersonation. Do not create a persona intended to impersonate a real person or another user.
Enforcement
Posts that violate these rules may be removed. Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension. We're a small community — let's keep it good.
These terms are a placeholder and will be updated with full legal terms before public launch.
